We are seeking a highly skilled SAP PP QM Consultant with experience in SAP S/4HANA and expertise in the Medical Device industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing functional and technical expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules, ensuring smooth system configuration and integration
Skillset:
· Lead SAP MM and IM modules in SAP S/4HANA for medical device industry client.
· Expertise in SAP PP QM module, investigate and troubleshoot for issues raised by business users, ensuring smooth operation.
· Partner with Implementation team for key events throughout implementation cycle including like SIT, UAT and follow the Go Live activities to ensure smooth handover to AMS team
· Participate in Hypercare activities and provide quick responses to user queries to assist them make full use of SAP PP / QM implementation.
· Analyze business requirements and design SAP solutions that support inventory management, procurement, and material planning processes.
· Configure SAP PP and QM modules in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820).
· Integrate SAP MM and IM with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, PP, QM, WM) to ensure a seamless flow of data across the organization.
· Assist in ensuring data integrity and the proper setup of new processes in S/4HANA.
· Provide expertise in managing medical device materials, including traceability, lot/batch management, and serial number management, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
· Support system testing, data migration, and end-user training for SAP implementations and upgrades.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the procurement lifecycle, from requisition through purchasing and receiving processes
· End to end ownership to investigate and resolve functional issues for PP / QM as part of AMS team
· Respond to user requests and tickets related to SAP PP and QM, resolving issues within the modules, and ensuring prompt and effective solutions.
· Assist in maintaining and optimizing SAP PP and QM configurations and customizations to meet business requirements.
· Collaborate with cross functional teams to diagnose issues related to issues with SAP Interfaces
· Document and maintain system functionality
· Ensure compliance with medical device manufacturing industry best practices and standards
· Manage and implement system changes through the defined change management process.
· Respond to user requests and tickets related, resolving issues within the modules, and ensuring prompt and effective solutions.
· Identify, analyze and resolve technical issues including production orders, material requirements planning, quality inspections, and quality certificates.
· Gather and document business requirements for minor enhancements and configure the SAP system accordingly.
· Create and maintain documentation of support processes, solutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Key Requirements:
· 8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP PP and QM modules, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA.
· Preferred: Experience in the medical device industry, with knowledge of FDA regulations
· Strong knowledge of material traceability, batch/lot management, and serial number management, particularly in regulated industries like medical devices.
· Ability to work with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that improve business processes and meet regulatory standards.
· SAP Certification is a plus
